Employee Referral Program

At AIS, we believe our employees are our biggest competitive advantage. As we continue to grow, we must ensure that we attract the right talent that understands our culture and commitment to driving results. Through industry research and our own experience, hires that come into our organization through employee referrals are faster to hire, stay longer, and are excellent contributors to the overall organization. As ambassadors of our brand, who better to identify and recommend candidates than AIS employees who support our goals on a daily basis.

AIS is seeking qualified candidates to join our team. If you know someone who would be a good addition to our AIS family and they meet the qualifications for an existing open position, you may be eligible to receive a referral reward if they are hired. Please see below for the specific program eligibility and guidelines.

EMPLOYEE ELIGIBILITY:

  • All regular full-time and part/time employees below a manager level may participate.

  • Exceptions:

    • Recruiting, Manager-level, and Director-level employees are not eligible to participate.

    • Employees within the hiring chain of the open position are not eligible to participate.

 

CANDIDATE ELIGIBILITY:

  • Candidates must not be currently employed at AIS.

  • Candidates cannot previously have had an unpaid or paid position at AIS.

  • Candidates cannot previously have interviewed at AIS through any personnel or recruiting mechanism.

  • Candidates must meet the basic qualifications for the eligible position (guard card, other certifications, etc.).

 

REFERRAL REWARD ELIGIBILITY:

  • Candidates must successfully pass background and other hiring requirements.

  • Candidate must accept an offer for full-time employment.

  • Candidate must be full-time employed by AIS in that position for 90 days and have a positive performance evaluation.

 

PROGRAM GUIDELINES:

  • The referral source must represent the candidate’s first contact with the company.

  • The referral must be submitted to Human Resources prior to the candidate’s hiring by way of a fully completed Employee Referral Form.

  • In the event the same candidate is referred by more than one employee, the earliest date determined by the date of receipt for the Employee Referral Form will prevail.

  • The first employee to refer a candidate will be the only referring employee eligible for a referral reward.

  • Candidates will be evaluated for employment consistent with AIS policies and procedures; there is no guarantee the candidate will be interviewed or hired.

  • All information regarding the hiring decision will remain strictly confidential.

  • This program has a limited quantity of available rewards every month. Please check with HR for availability.

 

REFERRAL REWARD:

  • The various Employee Referral Reward amounts for hourly/exempt positions:

 

Unarmed Security Officer Positions:$_200_

 

Armed Security Officer Positions: $_300_

 

Office Personnel Positions: $_300_

 

REFERRAL REWARD PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Referral rewards are paid in the form of gift cards with a face value reflecting the amounts earned. Payment options include, but are not limited to the following gift cards: Visa, Amazon, Walmart, ARCO, etc.

  • Referral rewards will vest in 2 increments of 45 days from the date of hire of the referred employee, with the final increment vesting at 90 days of employment.

    • The 45-day referral payment will be approximately 1/3 of the total referral reward amount.

    • The 90-day referral payment will be the remaining amount of the total referral reward amount.

  • The referred employee must be full-time employed by AIS in that position up to the date of vesting (for 45 days and 90 days) and have a positive performance evaluation.

  • Both the referring employee and the referred employee must be current employees up to the date of vesting.

  • Referral payment will be issued on the first pay period following the vesting date.

  • Referral payments are paid through the payroll process and are subject to all applicable deductions and taxes. Referral payments are reported as income for tax purposes.

  • Any disputes or interpretations of the Program will be resolved by the Director of Human Resources.

 

MOST EMPLOYEES REFERRED MONTHLY REWARD:

 

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Employee must be eligible according to the employee referral program above to participate.

  • A candidate must be eligible according to the employee referral program above to be considered for the employee’s tally.

  • All program guidelines of the employee referral program above govern the eligibility of calculating candidates towards the employee’s tally.

 

GUIDELINES:

  • This reward is a separate reward from the referral rewards above.

  • The date of receipt for the Employee Referral Form will be the date used to calculate candidates towards the employee’s tally.

  • The date of receipt must fall between 12:01AM of the first day of the month and 11:59PM of the last day of the month to be considered for calculation towards the employee’s tally for that specific month.

  • A scoreboard of the top 3 leading employees who referred the most candidates that month will be updated weekly on absolutesecurityintl.com/refer.

  • The scoreboard will only be a reflection of the number of candidates that are being considered for the employee’s tally but may not accurately reflect the actual tally after eligibility and payment requirements are applied.

REFERRAL REWARD:

 

Monthly Most Employees Referred Reward: $__50___

PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Referral rewards are paid in the form of gift cards with a face value reflecting the amounts earned. Payment options include, but are not limited to the following gift cards: Visa, Amazon, Walmart, ARCO, etc.

  • Referral rewards will vest on the last day of the following month.

  • A referred employee must be full-time employed by AIS in that position up to the date of vesting and have a positive performance evaluation to be counted for the employee’s tally.

  • Both the referring employee and the referred employee must be current employees up to the date of vesting to be counted for the employee’s tally.

  • Referral payment will be issued to the employee with the highest tally for referred employees, calculated based on the requirements set forth above on the day of vesting.

  • Referral payment will be issued on the first pay period following the vesting date.

  • Referral payments are paid through the payroll process and are subject to all applicable deductions and taxes. Referral payments are reported as income for tax purposes.

  • Any disputes or interpretations of the Program will be resolved by the Director of Human Resources.
