
Executive Team
President & Qualified Manager
The President graduated from Claremont Graduate University with an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). She has up to 30 years of experience working with private security firms. She specializes in working with government contracts and cost-effective custom security programs. She is a certified mediator by the City of Los Angeles, City Attorney’s Office and has vast experience in resolving difficult business disputes. The President has received numerous awards and recognition with various Councilman, Congressman, and City Mayors. Her experiences include Human Resources, Administrative Management, Marketing Development, Operations, and Staffing & Accounts coordination. She is the main point of contact for all contracts including those for both municipal and private sectors. She is also an honorary school board member at a local private school.
General Counsel
The General Counsel provides strategic legal guidance across the company’s operations, including for risk management, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and legal matters. Prior to AIS, he was a seasoned trial and transactional attorney with more than 25 years of experience representing businesses and individuals in complex litigation regarding business and commercial disputes, real estate and construction litigation, employment matters, trade secrets, unfair competition, and civil rights claims. He earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law, graduating in the top 5% of his class and serving as a member of the Law Review. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from United States International University. He is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, where he previously served as a Trustee and as Chair of the Small Firm and Solo Practitioner Section, and is a recipient of the Matthew Sandy Rae Award for service to the legal profession.
Of Counsel
The Chief Legal Officer has over 17 years as a practicing trial attorney. He has taken numerous cases through jury verdict on both the plaintiff and defense sides in multi-million dollar lawsuits. His practice spans both civil and criminal cases in state and federal courts. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Southern California in 1998 and then went on to earn his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law's accelerated SCALE Program where he graduated at the top of his class. Throughout his long and distinguished career, the he has represented numerous police chiefs in the Southern California Area, police officers and deputies from numerous law enforcement agencies in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura Counties as well as federal agents/officials from the Department of Homeland Security. The Chief Legal Officer oversees all legal matters pertaining to corporate, contract administration, and employment within the company.
Director of Compliance
The Director of Compliance is responsible for overseeing AIS’s robust compliance program. The director came to AIS with over 35 years of security experience, and has held a number of administrative and operational positions throughout his career. He has extensive knowledge on physical security systems (such as Network Systems, CCTV, Access Control, Lighting, Fencing, Barriers and Locking Hardware, as well as Integration and Fire-Life Safety Systems). He is also well-versed in administrative operations, as he has held roles from managing Fleet and Fuel Programs and a Communications / Dispatch Center, monitoring Electronic Monitoring Systems, to developing Training modules. He has been certified by Los Angeles Fire Department’s Community Emergency Response Team and their Urban Search and Rescue Team. He has also been certified by Texas A&M and TEEX in Weapons of Mass Destruction. He has been Certified as an Emergency First Responder Instructor by PADI International. Lastly, he holds certification on The Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation. The Director of Compliance also served as a member of the security committee at the Los Angeles Union Station where he evaluated the security threats of rail systems throughout Los Angeles. He was also a member of the National Association of Chiefs of Police (NAOCOP) and the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC).
Vice President of Operations & Training
The Vice President of Operations & Training is a seasoned security executive with more than 20 years of diverse experience spanning military service, law enforcement, corporate security, and public education. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed over 100 security service contracts, consistently delivering high-quality, client-centered solutions while overseeing all operational and training functions within the organization.
As the architect of AIS’s training division, he designs and implements advanced, state-certified programs that strengthen personnel readiness, improve operational efficiency, and promote service excellence. His leadership is grounded in a disciplined and strategic approach, shaped by his experience as a Police Officer and Field Training Officer with the Los Angeles Airport Police Department, as well as his service as a U.S. Army Sergeant and Cavalry Scout during Operation Enduring Freedom.
In addition to his operational leadership, the Vice President Of Operations & Training has contributed to the field of education as a Criminal Justice and Forensic Science Instructor, reflecting his strong commitment to professional development and knowledge sharing. Highly credentialed and widely respected, he continues to elevate industry standards through innovation, training excellence, and an unwavering dedication to preparedness and client success.
Regional Manager
The Regional Manager is at the helm of the Operations Department at AIS. He has over 23 years of combined Military, Federal Service, and Corporate Security Management with an emphasis on training, recruiting, and customer service. He holds significant positions such as Commissioner for Veterans, Los Angeles County, 1st District and Assistant Director, and Army Reserve Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). He has managed staff levels of all sizes and brings experienced leadership to the team. He oversees the Operations Department, but also contributes to a variety of additional support functions including Human Resources, Marketing, Branding, Recruiting, Risk Management, Business Development, and Logistics. He has established National, State and County Veteran collaborative programs through community outreach and was awarded the “Call to Service” award by President Obama.
Regional Manager
The Regional Operations Manager brings over 24 years of distinguished law enforcement experience, having retired at the rank of Lieutenant from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. His extensive background includes assignments in custody, patrol, specialized enforcement units, and leadership roles such as Training Officer, Special Problems Team member, and Operations Lieutenant for the Training Bureau. The Regional Manager also served as a tactics and weapons instructor, where he developed and delivered advanced training programs focused on officer readiness, critical incident response, and risk mitigation. He was selected to support the rollout of the Deputy-Involved Shooting (DIS) program and conducted detailed reviews for executive-level committees, including the Critical Incident Review Committee (CIRC) and Executive Force Review Committee (EFRC), providing insight into use-of-force incidents and risk mitigation strategie His experience includes oversight of multi-unit operations, personnel management, and participation in executive-level critical incident review committees, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of security operations and organizational preparedness.
Controller
The Controller attended Cal Poly Pomona and Majored in Business Administration. She worked at ERS Security for 9 years before joining the AIS team. She oversees the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives. She is accountable for all periodic financial reports, bank reconciliations, corporate annual reports, and controlled cash flow for the company. The Controller oversees accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable and partial Accounts Payable. Organization of expenditures and receipts allow her keep AIS fiscally accountable and track overall finances to be in line with the company’s vision.
Recruiting Manager
With over 15 years of leadership in Talent Acquisition and more than a decade in Operations Management, the Recruiting Manager brings a strategic, people-first approach to building high performance teams and scalable Recruiting systems. He has extensive insight into regional workforce dynamics and a proven track record of delivering top-tier talent to organizations across 11 states. The Recruiting Manager specializes in aligning recruitment strategies with business objectives, leading initiatives in workforce planning, employer branding, and executive search across diverse industries. His accomplished history working with a multitude of leading Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), leveraging technology to streamline hiring processes, enhancing the candidate experience, and making data-driven decisions makes him a perfect fit to reliably and professionally recruit talent for Absolute Security’s rigorous expectations and standards.
