Absolute International Security (AIS) is a licensed Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Private Patrol Operator that provides security services spanning from Los Angeles County to Orange County to Riverside County to San Bernardino County. Due to our rapid growth and the ever-increasing need for security, we are looking for armed/unarmed professionals with a valid BSIS Guard Card. Additional certifications⁠, such as a baton permit, OC Pepper Spray certification, CPR certification and a clean driving record are highly valued.

Job Title:  Legal Editor

Full-Time:  40 hours per week

 

Job duties:  Work under the in-house attorney to perform the following:

 

Write, rewrite and edit memoranda, business letters, demand letters, contracts, strategy reports, analysis and research reports, negotiation proposals settlement agreements and reports for various business transactions and civil dispute cases.

 

Follow the instructions and directions of in-house attorney to analyze individual and corporate customers' circumstances, backgrounds, and documents to develop strategies for the customers, helping them to choose the best way to successfully enter into business contracts for service agreements, purchase and sale agreements, or settlement agreements.

 

Write, rewrite and edit feasibility study reports, business plans, economic reports and other related documents for corporate customers.

 

Write, rewrite and edit various corporate documents, bylaws, operating agreements, board meeting minutes, shareholders’ agreements, employment handbooks, etc.

 

Liaise with customers and third-party professionals to collect corporate related documents, such as business licenses, financial statements, corporate tax returns, corporate bank statements, articles of corporation, bylaw, corporate minutes, etc.

 

Collect customers’ demand documents and conduct evaluations of all information collected, take time to understand the points being made, and ask questions appropriately to better write and edit related reports and memorandums.

 

Review and verify facts, dates, statistics, standard reference sources in all legal documents such as service distribution agreements, service liability agreements, reports, memoranda, petition letters, demand letters, termination letters, pleadings, discovery necessary documents.

 

Education Requirement: Master degree in Laws or English.
